Kevin Peraza Claims Bronze in Men's BMX Park at X Games Sacramento 2026
The first BMX event of X Games Sacramento 2026 saw eight of the world's top park riders battle it out in the Men's BMX Park Final. The field featured previous X Games gold medallist's and Olympic athletes representing Argentina, Australia, France, Japan, Mexico and the United States.
Looking to return to the podium after narrowly missing out at Summer X Games 2025, Kevin Peraza came into the final determined to make his mark. His opening run immediately placed him in third, setting the pace for the rest of the competition.
Saving his biggest run for last, Peraza increased the difficulty on his third and final attempt with an incredible line that included a can-can one-handed tire grab, Superman seat grab, barspin transfer to wallride toboggan, 360 double downside tail whip, big alley-oop air in the pocket, no-handed pocket air, flair, truckdriver to tabletop, peg grind over the wagon wheel, and an impressive flair tailwhip to fakie over the box jump.
The run earned Peraza a score of 94.00, securing the bronze medal in one of the most competitive BMX Park finals of the year.
With this result, Kevin Peraza now adds another X Games medal to his impressive career tally, bringing his total to 14 X Games medals — eight gold, three silver and three bronze.
The weekend isn't over for Peraza just yet, as he also set's out to compete in both the BMX Park Best Trick and BMX Street events later this weekend.
RideWire BMX will continue bringing you the latest updates from X Games Sacramento 2026 throughout the weekend.
